Awanui lab workers settle on salary increase after months of strikes
After six months of strikes, 500 Awanui lab workers, members of the APEX union, secured a 9.2% pay raise. This agreement addresses the pay gap with Te Whatu Ora staff. The union remains in negotiations for Awanui workers in Auckland and Medlab Central workers in other regions.
