Carlos Alcaraz defeats American Taylor Fritz for third straight Wimbledon final
At Wimbledon, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Taylor Fritz in the semi-finals, ending Fritz's hopes to be the first American to be in the Wimbledon final since 2009. Alcaraz will now face either Novak Djokovic or Jannik Sinner in the final. Amanda Anisimova will face Iga Swiatek, seeking to be the first American Wimbledon win since Serena Williams in 2016.
