Hurricane Flossie is now a Category 2 off the Pacific coast of Mexico
Hurricane Flossie, a Category 3 cyclone with 115 mph winds, is off Mexico's Pacific coast, bringing heavy rain to Michoacán, Colima, and Jalisco. Moving west-northwest, it's expected to strengthen before weakening. A tropical storm warning is in effect for Punta San Telmo to Playa Perula. Some areas may receive up to 6 inches of rain.
