Miraculous survival as NSW teen surfer found on remote island
After surfing at Wooli Beach, 19-year-old Darcy Deefholts went missing. A search was launched but suspended, his father appealed for help and family found him. He had survived overnight on an island in the North Solitary Island Nature Reserve, about 13km offshore. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
