Museum discovers rare 67-million-year-old dinosaur bone under its own parking lot
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science discovered a rare dinosaur fossil 750 feet underground while analyzing geothermal potential in its parking lot. The fossil is believed to be a vertebra from a small, plant-eating dinosaur dating back 67.5 million years. Fossilized vegetation was also found nearby.
