‘No Excuse For Speeding’: New Limits Aim To Protect School Children
Hastings District Council is proactively implementing lower 30km/h speed limits near schools, starting with Bridge Pā, to protect children. Previously, cars sped from a 100km/h zone, posing a risk. Principal Sadler welcomes the change. Variable speed limits will extend to all Hastings schools by September, aligning with national rules.
