Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is NBA 2K26's cover athlete after winning MVP and the NBA title, announced Tuesday. He averaged 32.7 points, 6.4 assists and five rebounds for the Thunder, who had a league-best 68-14 record. He also signed a $285 million extension. NBA 2K26 is expected in September. Last year's cover athlete was Jayson Tatum. 2K Games is also exploring a return to college basketball gaming.
